📚 A Boozy Book Fair? Only in Naples This Week!

This week, raise a glass—with purpose. Two events invite you to shop with a drink in hand while supporting a good cause: one benefits the homeless with a boutique pop-up and cocktails from Limon Bar, while the other is a grown-up book fair supporting the Children’s Museum.

Naples also serves us two special dining experiences this week: Bicyclette teams up with Palace Pub and Wine Bar this Sunday for a special menu, and Opera Naples hosts a dinner show at Del Mar in support of their programming. Free events include yoga at Mercato and the Grumpy Goat tasting series, which features local samples (well beyond just coffee). 

Looking ahead, I’ve included some September highlights—most notably the highly anticipated Candlelight Concerts. Tickets are going fast, so be sure to book early!

Kick off your weekend with an energizing morning of yoga and juice. 📍 AC Hotel 5th Avenue, 455 12th St S, Naples

Spend an afternoon shopping with purpose at this community-minded pop-up inside the AC Hotel. Local vendors will be showcasing everything from boutique fashion and handmade jewelry to artisan candles and gifts. While you browse, enjoy bites and cocktails from Limon Bar. Proceeds benefit Share My Love Inc., a nonprofit working to end poverty and homelessness here in our community. Free. Event Info. 

Bicyclette has been pushing Southwest Florida’s dining scene to new heights, and now they’re teaming up with Palace for a one-night collaboration. Expect coursed food and curated wine pairings exclusively from female winemakers around the world, with desserts from pastry chef Corie Greenberg. 📍Del Mar, 494 5th Ave S, Naples

Support Opera Naples with a 3-course meal at Del Mar this Tuesday. Between courses, guests will get a first look at Opera Naples’ upcoming season. Hear acclaimed tenor Martín Nusspaumer (you may remember him as Officer Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly) performing sea-inspired classics like Santa Lucia and Torna a Surriento. Proceeds benefit Opera Naples’ education programs, which reach more than 4,000 students and seniors each year. 📍Golisano Children’s Museum, 15080 Livingston Rd, Naples

If you loved the Scholastic Book Fair growing up, here’s your chance to relive the magic—with cocktails. Naples’ first independent bookstore, Books on Third, is hosting a 21+ book fair complete with light bites, one drink ticket included, and plenty of browsing. Discover new reads, pick up bookish crafts and gifts, and connect with fellow readers. A portion of sales benefits the Children’s Museum. $10. Tickets.

The roaming tasting event from Grumpy Goat Coffee comes to Sugarshack Downtown. Try samples from Grumpy Goat Coffee and a host of other partnering businesses. Exhibitors include The Hoppy Homestead, Pansardo Italian Specialties, Kristi’s Key Lime Cookies, and Olde Naples Chocolate, who will be sampling their specialty coffee, sourdough baked goods, Italian tapas, cookies, and custom chocolates. Candlelight Concerts: Coldplay vs. Imagine Dragons

📍Kizzie Theater, 701 5th Avenue South, Naples

Not your regular string quartet programming. Hear the Listeso String Quartet perform all your favorite Coldplay and Imagine Dragons songs among a sea of glowing candles. The candles may be fake, but the glow and emotional musical experience are real. Seating is first-come, first-served in each zone. Hear classics like Nice to Meet You, Fix You, The Scientist, and Viva la Vida. $24–$51. Tickets.

Paddle Battle – Pickleball Tournament for Children’s Health

📍USOP National Pickleball Center, 3520 Thomasson Lane, Naples

Pickleball meets purpose at Healthcare Network’s first annual Paddle Battle, a lively community tournament complete with food trucks, DJ music, and a Kids’ Fun Zone. Every serve supports children’s health programs in Collier County, helping ensure every child has access to the care they need. Players of all levels are welcome. Tickets include a swag bag, meal, and entry into the tournament. $75. Tickets.
