From Crab Traps to Crop Rows: Jimmy Perry Expands into Produce Farming

Naples locals know Jimmy Perry as a hardworking crabber, pulling in some of the freshest blue crabs and stone crabs in Southwest Florida. But now, he’s reeling in something new—fresh produce straight from his own fields.
After years of success on the water, Perry has expanded his business to farming, and his first harvest is officially underway. His fields are now producing yellow squash, zucchini, cucumbers, and collard greens—all grown with the same dedication and quality he’s known for in the seafood industry.
Perry’s first crop is already available for purchase, with prices that make fresh, locally grown produce an easy choice for Naples residents:
🥒 Cucumbers – $15 per box
🥕 Yellow Squash – $15 per box
🥦 Zucchini – $12 per box
🌿 Collard Greens – $4 each
But it’s not just locals who can enjoy Perry’s fresh harvest—he also offers wholesale availability for restaurants and local grocers. Whether you’re a restaurant owner looking for farm-fresh ingredients or a local who wants to support small businesses, Big Jimmy’s produce is worth checking out.
