One more thing you should know before the weekend: there's a new Sunday brunch overlooking the Gulf.
HB's at Naples Beach Club recently introduced a prix-fixe Sunday Beachside Brunch. Rather than a buffet, the meal starts with a glass of Champagne, warm Southern biscuits with house-made jams, and a seafood crudo platter for the table featuring hamachi, salmon, snapper, tuna and shrimp.
You then choose an entrée, with options ranging from crab Benedict and a lobster roll to grilled branzino, shakshuka with Gulf shrimp, or a six-ounce American Wagyu strip steak with fries. Throughout the meal, servers continue bringing around canapés, so there's always something new arriving at the table.
At $110 per person, this isn't your average Sunday brunch. But neither is the location. It's served in HB's dining room, where floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto the Gulf and nearly every table has a view of the water. For the right occasion, it’s hard to imagine a better place to spend a Sunday afternoon.
