One more thing you should know before the weekend: if La Salière has been one of those restaurants you've been meaning to try since it opened last year, this may be the month to finally make the reservation.
The restaurant arrived in late 2025 as the first U.S. location of La Salière Monte-Carlo, an Italian institution that's been serving Monaco since 1982. The menu is rooted in Italian classics like house-made lasagna, veal ragù over handmade maltagliati, Milanese-style ossobuco, and salt-crusted branzino carved tableside.
Rather than rolling out one summer special, La Salière has built nearly an entire week around them. Mondays are the standout, with 50% off their regular dinner menu after 6 p.m. If you're looking for a weekday dinner, there's also a three-course prix fixe for $45 Monday through Thursday (except Tuesdays).
More of a happy hour grazer? Stop by any afternoon between 4 and 6 p.m. and you'll find 50% off cocktails, 50% off select appetizers, and buy-one-get-one spritzes, while $2 oysters and $5 glasses of Whispering Angel are available every day. Wednesdays add 50% off select wines, Ladies Night Thursdays offer $5 cocktails, and Sunday brunch comes with Moët & Chandon specials.
Half the challenge of dining in Naples is deciding where to go. If you’ve been meaning to check it out, La Salière has made a reasonably persuasive argument for itself any day of the week.

Last week’s question was simple: What makes a waterfront meal in Naples feel complete?
The winner was a sunset view, pulling in 22.4% of the vote.
An outdoor table followed at 17.2%, with fresh local seafood at 16%. Other answers made up 15.1%, while live music nearby and boats passing by each received 14.7%.
So apparently, the food can be great, the table can be perfect, and the music can be playing. But if the sky starts turning pink over the water, that is still the thing Naples diners want most.

Why It Matters
Summer in Naples gets a lot more interesting when you know where the good deals are hiding.
Maybe that means finally trying La Salière on a half-off Monday, catching $2 oysters before dinner, or deciding the best plan is no plan at all once the pool and grill are involved.
Whatever you do this weekend, leave a little room for the plan to change. Sometimes that is where the good part starts.
