The Friday Scoop
One more thing you should know before the weekend: Naples just got a new restaurant worth watching. Heyday Cookshop is the latest move from Kayla Pfeiffer, the chef behind Bicyclette Cookshop, which earned her a 2025 James Beard Emerging Chef semifinalist nod. This time around, she’s going bigger with a concept that mixes food, music, and guest chefs.
The standout? Heyday is debuting Southwest Florida’s first chef residency program, bringing in visiting chefs for limited runs and new menu ideas. The current menu is playful takes on Florida and coastal flavors, with dishes like an elevated “Pub Sub” made with chicken mousse and a Florida-style cioppino with hogfish, shrimp, corn-green tomato broth, and spoon bread.
There’s also a hi-fi listening room and a curated bar program. In other words: this isn’t just another opening. Definitely one to keep on your radar.

Give Your Guests the Naples Stay They Actually Want 🌴
Hosting in Naples always sounds simple at first. Then the weekend arrives, and suddenly there are beach bags by the door, coffee routines colliding, shower schedules stacking up, and someone quietly turning your kitchen into their second home.
Naples Florida Rentals makes the visit easier.
Instead of squeezing everyone under one roof, your guests can stay nearby in a comfortable Naples rental close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and the places they came here to enjoy. You still get the dinners, beach days, and family time without turning your home into a guesthouse.
It’s a smart option for:
🏡 Family coming in for a long weekend
Give them room to settle in while keeping everyone close.🧳 Overflow guests during busy season
Avoid the packed-house feeling before it starts.🌴 Friends who want the real Naples experience
Let them enjoy their own space near the places they want to be.
Dana can help match your guests with the right rental, so the visit feels easier before they even arrive.

Why It Matters
Naples is at its best when there’s something new to try and enough room for everyone to enjoy it. Whether you’re booking a table, hosting family, or helping friends plan their next visit, this is the kind of weekend note worth saving.
