Friends and neighbors,
Following up on last week’s coverage of Omasava, we’re taking another look at Naples’ high-end dining scene, this time with the exclusive Prime Social Reserve, a VIP-only restaurant and rooftop that currently has a waitlist to join.
We’re also sharing a little floral inspiration. Whether you’re celebrating Passover, Easter, or simply the arrival of spring, here are a few local spots worth stopping by for a hostess gift or a simple way to brighten someone’s day.
Thank you, as always, for all your feedback, tips, and support. Happy Passover and Easter to those who celebrate!
Warmly,

Naples has always had a taste for places that feel a little hard to get into. Prime Social Reserve, the new rooftop restaurant from the Cameron Mitchell group behind Del Mar and Ocean Prime, fits that instinct neatly. Opened in October above Fifth Avenue South, it arrives with a clear message: this is not just dinner, it is access.
At 837 Fifth Avenue South, the restaurant sits in a roughly 7,300-square-foot indoor-outdoor space reached by a dedicated elevator, and the climb up is part of the point. Enter through a lit archway with greenery into a swanky dining room. The rooftop deck, with its striped umbrellas and layers of greenery, has the feel of a private terrace at a California hotel. The interior lies somewhere between a megayacht and a Japanese fusion restaurant, with palm trees inside, too. It’s upscale, but not as stiff as many a Michelin dining room.

The draw? Prime Social Reserve is operating on a VIP, membership-only model, and the benefits are straightforward: guaranteed reservations for parties of four, plus options for your guests to reserve tables of four unaccompanied, as well as access to special events including tastings, receptions, chef dinners, and winemaker nights. There’s also a dedicated personal concierge to ensure reservations and special requests are met. Yes, there’s a dress code that prohibits t-shirts, and the VIP list is already sold out, with a waiting list that anticipates being able to accept people through 2026.
The menu promises the same elevated experience. This is an upscale, composed dining room, not a place built around oversized portions or predictable steakhouse rituals. The kitchen is focused on hand-rolled sushi, seafood, Wagyu, caviar service, and shareable small plates, with cocktails and wine that belong to the same world of polished, lingering dinners. It's a menu that works when the table wants to sample, talk, and stretch the evening out rather than move quickly through courses.
The larger Cameron Mitchell network gives the concept an additional layer of appeal. VIP access extends across the group’s restaurants. This means priority reservations to Ocean Prime and Del Mar, as well as the 70 other restaurants in their portfolio around the country. This makes the membership model especially attractive to people who split time between Naples and other cities, or who simply like knowing there are always seats waiting at their favorite spots.

Prime Social Reserve also lands at the right moment for Naples, building an unmistakable appetite for private clubs, invitation-only rooms, and dining spaces that offer more than a reservation. It is dressed for a crowd that likes beautiful rooms, selective access and guaranteed seats. While the Naples locals love to make a reservation, Prime Social is offering a more exclusive seat that already has a waitlist.

Naples’ Best Spots for Flowers and Bouquets: 5 Local Flower Shops Perfect for Holidays
Between birthdays and spring holidays, there are many reasons to grab flowers. Before you head to your next dinner party, consider stopping by one of these local spots for a centerpiece-worthy bouquet.

Flowers of Naples is one of the most familiar names in town for same-day delivery and classic floral arrangements. They’re a dependable option when you want something elegant for a reasonable price, from roses and seasonal stems to arrangements for birthdays, sympathy, anniversaries, and everything in between.

Naples Floral Design is another local favorite, especially for readers who want a polished bouquet without spending an arm and a leg. You’ll find multiple arrangements in the $50-80 range and they offer next-day delivery for last-minute gifts.

Jardin Floral Design has more of a boutique feel, with arrangements that feel a little more personal and curated. Along with flowers, they also carry plants, succulents, and giftable pieces, which makes it a good stop when you want to give something more than a bouquet. For anyone who likes their bouquets with a little personality, Jardin fits the bill.

Lory Flowers is a good choice for elevated flowers. Their style is unique from all others on this list with custom, European-style bouquets, which makes them especially appealing for gifts and special occasions. If the goal is to send flowers that feel memorable, this is one to keep in mind.

Driftwood Garden Center & Florist is a practical favorite for people who like having flowers, plants, and gift ideas all in one place. It’s perfect when you’re short on time but still want to bring something home that looks good. They even offer cute alternatives to standard vases, like this charming "Don't Touch Mother’s Purse” birthday arrangement.
Naples has no shortage of places to pick up flowers, but these are the ones that are dependable and produce genuinely lovely arrangements. And in a town where people appreciate a nice table and a host gift, a little extra effort to find a well-made bouquet goes a long way.
Poll Results: 300‑Dollar Tasting Menus?
Last week we asked: Would you book an omakase or tasting menu in the 300–350 dollar per person range in Naples?
Here’s where you landed:

Probably not; that’s more than I want to spend on dinner took the lead with 34.47% of votes, while 23% of respondents said they would book it for a big celebration. While some readers see it as a special-occasion experience, there’s also a clear appetite for more approachable options that fit everyday life here in Naples. These results are a helpful reminder that value matters most, especially during the slower season when locals help keep the tables full.
This Week’s Poll: Private Clubs?
Beyond golf, are you interested in joining private social and dining clubs like Prime Reserve?
Why It Matters
As Naples keeps making room for more private dining, polished experiences, and thoughtful local touches, it is always interesting to see what feels worth the buzz and what feels worth bringing home. This edition was really about both: the places that offer a little more access, and the simple details, like a good bouquet, that still go a long way.
If you have thoughts on private dining clubs, local florists we should know about, or a Naples spot you think deserves more attention, hit reply and send it our way. We always love hearing from you.
