Friends and neighbors,
November is shaping up to be an exciting month in Naples.
Old Vines Supper Club on Davis is moving to The Shoppes at Vanderbilt—a much-needed expansion to host their tasting dinners and a deeper cocktail list. I gave you the full rundown and also highlighted 6 underrated cafes that provide a quiet respite as the populations rise once again.
Also, I want to let you know the much-anticipated Greek restaurant Violí, in Mercato’s new piazza, is now taking reservations if you want to be the first to try. Got guests visiting soon? These pristine, locally-owned rentals are managed by Dana, who’s as thoughtful a host as they come.
Thank you for reading, commenting, and tipping me off to the latest. Happy exploring around Naples!
Cheers,

The Supper Club Finds a New Home at The Shoppes at Vanderbilt

Something exciting has been simmering behind the scenes, and now it’s official: the Old Vines Supper Club is moving to a new and expanded home at The Shoppes at Vanderbilt in North Naples. After two and a half years in their cozy 30-seat dining room on Davis Boulevard, the team is transitioning to a larger space needed to suit demand and their ambitions to grow.
The new location, expected to open soon in mid-November, will offer more room while keeping the intimate atmosphere that has defined The Supper Club experience. Guests can still expect the restaurant’s Seasonal Tasting Menu on weekends (now with Sunday service) and Wine Dinner Wednesday, which are informative and delicious. Tuesdays will continue to host their “experiential” immersive dinners with live music, magic shows, and blind wine tastings.
For something a bit more casual, a seasonal à la carte menu will be served in the Lounge and Patio, while the Dining Room will host curated prix fixe menus. The beverage program is also getting a refresh, expanding beyond its globally-inspired wine list to include a more robust cocktail and spirits selection.

The team plans to celebrate the move with a Grand Opening party once construction wraps up. Until then, The Supper Club on Davis will host final tasting dinners before the transition. Later this month, the new location will debut with a late fall tasting menu and their annual Truffle dinner, coinciding with peak truffle season in Italy. Reservations will be available through Resy. Check out their calendar here.
