PRESENTED BY Naples Florida Rentals
The Naples Rental Built Around the Backyard 🌴
A private heated pool, tropical outdoor space, and minutes-from-everything location.
Some vacation rentals are just a place to sleep.
This one feels like part of the trip.
Set on a quiet, canopy-lined street just minutes from downtown Naples, 5th Avenue South, and the beach, this 4-bedroom coastal retreat gives guests the kind of setup that makes a Florida stay feel easy right away: room for the group, a private backyard, outdoor dining, and Naples favorites close enough to keep every day simple.
The backyard is the reason to look twice.
There is a huge heated pool with a waterfall, tropical landscaping, a BBQ grill, outdoor dining space, and mango trees guests can enjoy in season. 🥭 It is made for slow mornings, post-beach swims, relaxed dinners outside, and afternoons where nobody is rushing to leave.
Why it works for a group:
Sleeps 5 to 8 guests with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, two king beds, one queen, and two twins.
Why the location helps:
You are minutes from downtown Naples, 5th Avenue South, beaches, shopping, dining, and nearby kayak and paddleboard access through the Gordon River.
Bonus: It is pet-friendly, so the whole crew can come along. 🐾
If you are planning a Naples trip with family, friends, or a small group, this is the kind of house that can make the stay feel memorable before you even leave the backyard.
Friends and Neighbors,
Not every morning in Naples is meant for a long brunch. Some mornings call for a quick coffee, a breakfast sandwich, or a bagel, and the ability to get back in the car before the ice melts in your cooler.
So this week, we’re focusing on the breakfast spots to swing by when you need something quick and reliable.
We’re also highlighting Ro & Co Barbecue—not exactly breakfast fare, but absolutely worth knowing about—especially for anyone who wants to track down some of the best smoked meats popping up around Southwest Florida right now. If your mouth isn’t watering by the end of this newsletter, I haven’t done my job right.
Cheers,

Where to Grab a Fast Breakfast in Naples: Grab-N-Go Standouts
A good grab-and-go breakfast should be early, fast, and sturdy enough to survive the ride home. These Naples spots do that particularly well, managing to feel efficient without drifting into a sad utilitarianism that plagues many a drive-through breakfast.
Brooklyn Dough: The Bagel Stop

If you want a real bagel in Naples, this is where most people start. The hand-rolled New York–style bagels are the main draw, and the breakfast sandwiches are what take it up a notch. Order the everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese, or the steak, egg, and cheese made with ribeye from local butcher Jimmy P’s.
The spicy everything bagel has developed something of a cult following, and regulars know to order ahead online during season because the pickup line moves much faster that way. The sandwiches travel well, which matters more than people think when breakfast is eaten halfway to the beach.

Bontà Bakery: The Downtown Pastry Stop

Bontà is the place for a faster breakfast with both sweet and savory options that feel more elevated than the standard coffee-and-muffin arrangement. The pistachio croissant is the signature order, though the bomboloni — generously filled Italian donuts — deserve equal attention.
If you want something more substantial, the focaccia sandwiches and handheld sandwiches are excellent grab-and-go options. It is especially useful for downtown mornings when you need something quick before work, errands, or a slightly aimless stroll down Fifth Avenue pretending humidity is not a factor. The espresso drinks are consistently strong, and the pastry case has a dangerous tendency to encourage over-ordering.

Bad Ass Coffee: The Early Utility Stop

Bad Ass Coffee opens early and does not waste your time. The coffee is the reason many people stop, but the bacon, egg, and cheese standbys make it a legitimate breakfast option rather than just a caffeine errand.
If you want something less conventional, try the Aloha sandwich, their Hawaiian take on breakfast with ham, pineapple, and barbecue sauce. It sounds mildly unhinged on paper but works surprisingly well. Besides donut shops, this is also one of the earliest-opening breakfast spots on the list, which makes it useful for golfers, gym goers, and fishermen.

Airport Donuts: The Old-School Morning Favorite

Airport Donuts still does the simple things well: fresh donuts, hot coffee, and an apple fritter that has been pulling people in for years. Their bigger claim to fame is the “healthier” donut: fluffy, from-scratch donuts made with organic King Arthur Flour, no artificial dyes, and fried in beef tallow.
Whether or not you care about avoiding seed oils, you can taste the difference. The donuts feel lighter, less greasy, and do not leave that heavy aftertaste some donut shops do. The fritter is still the standout item, but the whole menu is built for early mornings and anyone with a sweet tooth.

Wolfmoon: The Croissant Queen

Wolfmoon is the option for people who are perfectly content with a cappuccino and one of the best croissants in Naples.
The signature orders are the ham and cheese croissant and the almond croissant, along with rotating specials like prosciutto & provolone. The pastries are deeply flaky, unapologetically buttery, and tend to disappear early. The coffee drinks are also excellent, and the setting gives the whole place a quieter energy compared to the more polished café scene downtown.

A good grab-and-go breakfast should save you time without feeling like a compromise. These places do that in different ways, which is exactly why locals keep returning to them.
Ro & Co Barbecue: Naples’ Barbecue Obsession

Good barbecue requires time, patience, and someone willing to wake up at an hour most people would consider medically unnecessary. Ro & Co has built its reputation in Southwest Florida by taking that process seriously.
Started by husband-and-wife team Tyler and Jolene Garrison, Ro & Co operates primarily as a Texas-style barbecue pop-up around Naples and Bonita Springs, often appearing at breweries and local events. The setup is relatively simple. The food is not.
The brisket is the reason many people start paying attention. Properly barked, deeply smoky, and sliced thick enough to remind you this came from an actual smoker and not a steam tray. The spare ribs are strong, and the pork belly burnt ends (especially the gochujang version) manage to feel inventive without being gimmicky.
The sides are also worth your time, which is not always guaranteed at barbecue spots. The mac and cheese is rich without becoming gluey, the brisket pinto beans have depth, and the Mexican street corn is a welcome addition. Save room for the banana pudding if possible.
What makes Ro & Co stand out locally is the lack of unnecessary theater. Just people who are clearly serious about smoked meat and happen to be very good at making it.

Poll Results: Martini Showdown?
Last week we asked: The best martini has…
Here’s where you landed:

Vodka was the resounding winner with 63.45% of votes! I love how these bring out the opinionated voices. To even it out, here are some gin defenders:
Gin - “That is the classic prep, not sure when vodka gimlets, lemon drops, etc. became martinis” -L.
Gin - “The juniper makes it superior - Monkey 47 in the house? Here’s the twist: shaken not stirred - Bond style. Yes gin nerds say shaking a gin martini dilutes the juniper. But only shaking gives you ‘ducks on a pond’ (the heavenly icy top that makes the martini). 3 blue cheese olives thank you! ” - J.
This Week’s Poll: Grab-N-Go?
What’s your go-to quick breakfast in Naples?
Why It Matters
The best Naples mornings are not always the ones with linen napkins and a reservation.
Sometimes they are a bagel in the car, a croissant that flakes all over your shirt, a donut box passed across the front seat, or a coffee strong enough to make errands feel slightly less offensive. And later, if the day goes right, maybe it turns into barbecue, a martini opinion nobody asked for, and one more local spot worth keeping in rotation.
That is the nice thing about Naples. Even the quick stops can feel like part of the day.
