Need an excuse to leave the house?

This coming week brings a seven-course tasting menu that's only around for a few more days, a Wimbledon watch party complete with strawberries and cream, and two chances to hear live music—a Fleetwood Mac tribute by candlelight and an intimate night of jazz at The London Club. 

If you've been waiting for the off-season to try somewhere new, this is a good week to do it. The beauty of summer is you don’t have to plan too far in advance.

📅 Thursday, July 9 – Sunday, July 12 | Reservations between 5:30–9:00 PM
📍The Supper Club

This weekend is your last chance to experience The Supper Club's Early Summer tasting menu. Chef Sophia Kiasi's menu is available as either a seven-course experience ($125) or a four-course tasting ($95), with optional wine pairings curated by Wine Director Zach Bingham. The menu includes courses like Fluke crudo, squid ink linguine with P.E.I. mussels, braised short rib with an onion jam, and pork tenderloin with charred peaches, among others. Reservations are required.

📍Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort

The Naples Beach Club is offering another preview of The Wager, its upcoming sports pub, by transforming the space into a Wimbledon viewing party for both championship matches. Expect Champagne, strawberries and cream, themed bar bites, arcade games, table games, and the option to reserve a bowling lane. Catch the Women’s Finals Saturday or the Men’s Finals Sunday. Reservations are just $1.

📍Kizzie Theater, Sugden Community Theatre

If you've been meaning to catch Les Misérables, it's continuing its run at The Naples Players through July 26. The beloved musical follows Jean Valjean's search for redemption against the backdrop of revolutionary France, featuring classics including I Dreamed a Dream, One Day More, and Bring Him Home. Evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets.

📍Kizzie Theater, Sugden Community Theatre

Fleetwood Mac's catalog gets the string quartet treatment inside the candlelit Kizzie Theater. The Listeso String Quartet performs favorites including Dreams, Landslide, The Chain, Go Your Own Way, and Rhiannon. Even if you've heard these songs countless times, the setting gives them an entirely different character. Tickets.

📍The London Club

Award-winning trumpeter and vocalist Benny Benack III joins the Danny Sinoff Trio for an evening of jazz at The London Club. The performance is paired with the club's new Summer Nights offering: a three-course prix fixe dinner for $65 per person with live entertainment included. Reservations are recommended. 📍Vichino's Cafe & Wine Bar, Bonita Springs

Celebrate Bastille Day with a guided tasting through several of France's most celebrated wine regions. Led by wine importer Julie, the class explores French wine styles while pairing each pour with Vichino's signature pretzel charcuterie featuring meats, cheeses, fruit, and pretzel nuggets. Seating is limited, and advance tickets are required. Tickets.

Summer in Naples has a quieter rhythm, but that is part of what makes weeks like this worth noticing. The crowds are lighter, the reservations are easier, and the best plans are often the ones you make a few days before.
