You’ve got options: start your day with the parade and catch the fireworks in Naples or Marco Island in the evening. I also want to let you know the Naples Botanical Garden will have free admission all day on the 4th – a perfect after-parade activity if you have visitors. 

Looking ahead, there are a couple of great reasons to get out of the sun next week: A stellar jazz concert at Artis-Naples, a comedy show, and a DIY pet portrait painting event.

1. Naples Fourth of July Parade

📅 Friday, July 4^th | 9:00 AM

📍 5^th Ave South and 8^th St. South

Join the community on Friday for the Naples Annual Fourth of July Parade. The one you know and love has a new route: it’s not marching on Third Street South this year, instead heading across Fifth Ave South and south on Eighth Street South, ending at City Hall. Street Closures begin at 7AM and end at Noon. More info and where to park.

2. Naples Fourth of July Fireworks

📅 Friday, July 4^th | 9:00 PM

📍 Naples Pier

Don’t miss the city’s biggest fireworks display above the Gulf. Head to the beach early to claim your spot and catch sunset. Have questions about parking? Check the Naples Gov. page for complete info here.  

3. Marco Island Fireworks

📅 Friday, July 4^th | 9:00 PM

📍 Tigertail Beach and South Beach

If you’re on Marco, the fireworks go off over the water between Tigertail Beach and South Beach. Bring a chair, walk if you can, and plan for traffic on the way out. More info here. 

4. Naples Pier Beach Cleanup

📅 Saturday, July 5^th | 9:30 AM – 11 AM

📍 Naples Pier

The community comes together the morning after the Fourth to clean up the beach. Each volunteer will be provided with the necessary tools. Bring a smile and a refillable water bottle. An easy way to help after a night of celebration. Free. 

5. Formula 1 Watch Party @ The Courtyard Bar at Ridgway

📅 Sunday, July 6 | 9:30 – 11 AM

📍Ridgway Bar & Grill, 1300 3rd Street South

Join fellow Formula 1 aficionados Sunday morning at The Courtyard Bar on Third Street South for a watch party. All races and Saturday Qualifying will be shown. Race Times are subject to change, please check the F1 schedule. Event info. 

6. Kenny Washington w/ Naples Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra
All That Jazz Series 

📅 Next Wednesday, July 9 | 6 PM and 8:30 PM performances 

📍Artis-Naples, 5833 Pelican Bay Blvd

Spend an evening listening to the smooth voice of Kenny Washington, backed up by the Naples Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra. Expect to be taken on a lyrical ride of jazz solos and swingin’ tunes. 7. Steve-O @ Off the Hook Comedy

Round up a few friends and take in the multi-media comedy show of Steve-O, a daredevil who got his start on the stunt-based reality show Jackass which prompted a series of movies. Next week, Wine & Canvas takes over our favorite Bad Ass Coffee to host a paint-your-own pet fundraiser to support the work of Angels Touch Rescue, an organization dedicated to rescuing neglected and abused pets. Book your tickets now and send your favorite pet photo to [email protected] by noon on Tuesday, July 8^th. They’ll prep the canvas with an outline of your pet. Instruction and all painting materials provided. Beginners encouraged! Tickets are $55.
