Cast your vote, then keep reading for this week’s Naples recap and a featured stay made for slowing down.
Friends and neighbors,
Naples gave us plenty of reasons to make plans this week.
There were enduring restaurants worth revisiting, summer events worth leaving the house for, and enough good food, music, and local traditions to fill several afternoons.
Before we slow things down with today’s featured stay, here is a quick look at what you may have missed.
In Case You Missed It
Tuesday: Naples Classics Worth Revisiting
Ahead of Bastille Day, we returned to Chez Boët, the longtime French bistro that has been giving Naples a taste of France for more than two decades.
We also revisited three local institutions that have never stopped earning return visits: Island Gypsy, Buzz’s Lighthouse, and The Real Macaw. Think waterfront grouper sandwiches, post-beach traditions, tropical patios, and the kind of unhurried hospitality that still feels distinctly Naples.
Thursday: A Summer Week Worth Going Out
Our weekly events guide brought together Wimbledon, Fleetwood Mac by candlelight, French wine, jazz, and more.
From a seven-course summer tasting menu to strawberries and cream at the Naples Beach Club, it was a reminder that the quieter season still offers plenty of good reasons to leave the house.
Together, those two editions captured the rhythm of a good Naples week: a reason to revisit an old favorite, a few new plans worth making, and enough variety to keep the calendar interesting.
But the best trips are not built only around where you go.
They also depend on where you return when the afternoon runs long, the beach towels are still damp, and everyone is ready to slow down without ending the day.
That is where today’s featured stay fits in.
The Naples Home That Makes the Whole Trip Easier 🌴
Most travel guides tell you where to go.
This stay solves the part an itinerary usually leaves out: where everyone actually wants to be between plans.
You can start the morning at the beach, wander around downtown, stop for lunch near 5th Avenue South, or spend a few hours paddling along the Gordon River.
Then you come back to a private backyard that makes the next reservation feel much less urgent.
A heated pool with a waterfall sits among tropical landscaping, with outdoor dining, a BBQ area, and seasonal mango trees when the timing is right. It is made for long swims, easy dinners, and afternoons that quietly become evenings. 🥭

Inside, there is enough space for everyone to stay together without feeling like they are living out of one crowded hotel room.
Room For The Whole Group

The home includes two king beds, one queen, and two twins, making it an easy fit for visiting family, a friends’ getaway, or a small group that wants a little more breathing room.

Close To Naples, Without Feeling Busy
Downtown Naples, 5th Avenue South, the beach, restaurants, shopping, and Gordon River kayak and paddleboard access are all conveniently nearby.
You can fill the day when you feel like exploring.
You can also stay by the pool without wondering whether you are missing the best part of the trip.

Why It Matters
The best Naples days are not always the busiest ones.
Sometimes the part you remember most is the space between plans: a slow morning, an extra hour by the pool, dinner outside, or the moment everyone decides there is nowhere else they need to be.
That balance is part of what makes Naples special. There is always something worth going out for, but there is also something to be said for leaving room in the day to simply enjoy where you are.
I hope this week gives you a reason to revisit an old favorite, try something new, and make a little more time for the pause in between.
See you next edition,
